Is there breakfast or café service at República Barcelona Apartment?
República Barcelona Apartment does not have a café or breakfast service on-site. When making your reservation, you can request a basic kit of products, which our staff will prepare for your arrival. Additionally, you will have the menu of Le Room Service at your disposal, with all kinds of food and drinks within reach.
Near the apartments, there is a wide variety of cafés, bars, and restaurants. You can request recommendations from our receptionist. There are also several supermarkets around where you can find everything you need to cook.
Do you have accessible or adapted apartments?
The Republic building features an adapted apartment with wide access, walk-in (flat entry) showers, and support bars. If you require an apartment with these characteristics, please inform us in advance so we can assign it accordingly.
Is there an airport transfer service?
We work with the company Welcome Pickups for transfer services to and from the airport. This is not a service that is offered directly or for free. Additionally, we can also assist you in booking a taxi whenever you need it.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM and check-out must be done before 11:00 AM. We highly recommend that you contact us prior to your arrival to complete the online check-in and thus expedite the registration and key handover processes. If you need a special schedule, please inquire in advance.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
The cancellation policy may vary depending on the selected rate. Generally, flexible rates allow free cancellations up to 24 or 48 hours before arrival. Non-refundable rates will not permit cancellation or modification. Seasonal special rates may have strict cancellation deadlines of 7 or 14 days. We recommend reviewing the specific conditions when making your reservation.
Is a deposit required upon arrival?
Yes, upon arrival, a deposit of €350 must be made via credit card. This deposit is automatically refunded upon departure after inspecting the apartment. Please note that although we process the refund on the same day of your departure, your bank may take a few days to complete the transaction; especially in the case of foreign and non-EU banks.
What amount has to be paid as a Tourist Tax?
The government of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Barcelona City Council have approved a special tax on tourist stays in the city, with a price range depending on the category of the establishment. This tax is used to finance services and maintenance in the city to maintain the quality of life of its residents and improve the experience for visitors.
The amount payable will always be the current rate on the date of your stay in the city. As of August 2025, this amount for República Barcelona Apartment is €5.50 per person per night. Children under 16 years old are exempt. A maximum of seven nights per stay will be applied.
Is there a pool at República Barcelona Apartment?
The building of República Barcelona Apartment has a common terrace and a swimming pool to relax and cool off in summer (usage hours 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, only during summer season).
Is there parking at República Barcelona Apartment?
Yes, República Barcelona Apartment has parking in the same building, entrance on Pujades Street, 120. The parking has chargers for electric vehicles. The cost per day is (25€ VAT included). Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance, they must be arranged directly upon arrival.
Are pets allowed at República Barcelona Apartment?
A maximum of one pet per apartment and weighing no more than 15 kg is permitted. The cost per pet is € 15 per pet per night (VAT not included). Owners must ensure that pets are not left alone in the establishment’s communal areas, are always kept on a lead in the case of dogs (and muzzled if aggressive or dangerous breeds) or transported in their carriers in the case of other kinds of pet. Owners of dogs must ensure that they do not bark, especially at night.
